My name is Susan Loveless. I am a Mom to 2 amazing kids and wife to an awesome husband of 20+ years. After a diagnosis of multiple thyroid nodules of every kind and a complete thyroidectomy in 2013 because of a cancer scare - there was no cancer ; ), I became curious about what caused it. I started paying more attention to what was going into my body. I started thinking about all of the non-natural things that infiltrated my body not just from eating, but also through my skin and the air. We started making changes to our lives by making choices that we believed would be more easily recognized and processed by our bodies and therefore hopefully keep our bodies more healthy. We quickly noticed that we felt better and looked better and got sick less frequently. I am not saying that we live an all-organic, 100% healthy life-style, just that we try to make better choices most of the time and are trying to teach our kids about the choices that they have when it comes to their health.
After this experience, I decided that I wanted to create a business that could provide amazing pure, fresh-made products and help change the way other people treat their bodies as well. I started researching homemade spa and beauty products made with all natural ingredients including pure butters and carrier oils, therapeutic essential oils, herbs, etc. and realized that while they were available, they were all mass produced and had to have something in them (preservatives) to allow them to sit on a shelf.
SO... Spa1421 was born...

Where did the name come from?
Psalms 104:14-21 14 He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate - bringing forth food from the earth: 15 wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their faces shine, and bread that sustains their hearts. 16 The trees of the LORD are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon that he planted. 17 There the birds make their nests; the stork has its home in the junipers. 18 The high mountains belong to the wild goats; the crags are a refuge for the hyrax. 19 He made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to go down. 20 You bring darkness, it becomes night, and all the beasts of the forest prowl. 21 The lions roar for their prey and seek their food from God.
